Chicken curry.

Ingredients :
1 whole chicken - skinned and cut into medium sized pieces
Fresh ginger - 1/2 cup chopped into cubes
Onion - 1 small size cut into thick slices
Cinnamon stick - 4
Dried red chilies - according to your taste
Yogurt - 1/2 cup (beaten)
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Red tandoori color
Oil - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste

Method :
Fry the cut onion, ginger, cinnamon sticks, and the red chilies in oil using a saucepan. When the onions turn golden brown, grind them into a fine paste. Take a non-stick deep dish, fry the chicken in the pre-heated oil on high flame. Add the grounded paste, coriander powder, and salt and fry for few minutes while stirring constantly. Reduce the flame to low and slowly add the yogurt, mixing it thoroughly with the chicken. Mix the red tandoori color in half cup water and pour into the chicken. Cook till chicken gets done on medium heat. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro.
